The Idapt Ramp and Step Calculator enables users to quickly assess gradients and space when considering whether ramps and steps will be required (e.g. for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility).

Simply enter the variables you know (e.g. rise/distance/ tread) and the calculator will automatically tell you the other dimensions. A warning will be given if the outcomes do not comply with UK Building Regulations (including factors such as the maximum acceptable ramp gradient, the maximum number of steps in a staircase of a given length etc.). You can then return to edit the original data entered in light of the recommendations made by the Calculator. You have the option to send the results to your email address.

Currently the App takes input in metric measurements only and the recommendations are based on UK Building Regulations.

You can email the calculation results to your chosen email address and refer to them later.
