We celebrated our recent office move to 7 Lilymead Avenue after 9 years at Queen Charlotte Street by throwing a party, with the very capable assistance of Paola Davis, Project Manager for ZiaBia Events Management and Consultancy.
At least sixty distinguished guests from the world of business in Bristol and surrounding areas were in attendance, including many of our clients and contacts.
Guests enjoyed champagne, nibbles and a selection of wines from Averys, supplied by Mimi Avery.
Our special guest on the night was Laura Serratrice of the National Eye Research Centre, a charity we have worked with over many years.
Laura introduced the work her charity does to the assembled guests. A prize raffle to which GWS donated the prizes was then held to raise funds for N.E.R.C..
The two main prizes, an exclusive meal for two at San Carlo Bristol and a bottle of fine malt whiskey, were won by Chris Leek of Mensa International and Mark Baldwin of Pronto-pack.
Fine entertainment was provided in one of the rooms by Track7 (singer Lotty Ellery and guitarist Chris White), members of The Shuffles Band, who put in an outstanding, note-perfect and rhythmically flawless performance, regaling guests with their varied set of acoustic covers of well-loved classic chart hits spanning different eras and diverse genres from pop and rock to soul, funk and dance. They come highly recommended and left a succession of visitors to the room where they were performing spellbound by their energy and musical virtuosity!
We would like to thank all who contributed to the special atmosphere that made it an evening to remember.
