This week seems to have shot by with a full round of networking events and meetings. We're delighted to have started work on promotion for a health and safety consultant, as well as carrying on with design work for Brace, a charity raising money for research into Alzheimer's.
Bristol is all abuzz with events this week, ranging from the Slapstick Festival celebrating silent comedy which started yesterday to the MShed's Chinese New Year events over this weekend. We're continually refreshed to see how active and creative Bristol is, and we've also been enjoying looking through photos for our Bristol Unique Guide (and sharing some of them on Twitter).

Businesses using social media
We shared some of our Twitter tips here on the blog this week, so we thought this look at useful Twitter Apps from Mashable might be worth looking at too.
Whatever point you are at with your social media campaign, we feel it's always worth taking stock and reflecting on how you do things. This article on how to find your social media stride has some advice that is potentially useful for everyone.
The Next Web featured some fascinating statistics giving an insight into the world of generation Y (13-24 year olds) including brand awareness, gadget ownership and technology usage. Definitely worth a look.
SOPA update
Last week we featured a whole host of links to do with the Stop Online Piracy Act, so we thought these links might be interesting: a follow up by The Guardian and a video illustrating how people on twitter reacted to the internet blackout.
Design
The plans for the new design museum in London - set to open in 2014 - have been revealed and certainly looks like it will be an impressive space, reusing the currently disused Commonwealth building.

This in-depth look at what successful products might teach us about website design makes for a fascinating read, particularly the emphasis on simplicity and the usefulness of evolving something slowly and with many iterations.

Now it's your turn!

If you've featured any useful tips, advice or interesting posts on your blog this week, concerning social media, technology or design, please add a link to it in the comments.
