Business solutions over a decade
SWMAS and Exelin provide advice, programmes and training to companies looking to grow and improve efficiency. Their client base ranges from manufacturing companies to local authorities, transport companies and the Health Service.
Since 2006 GWS has worked on a series of development projects taking business processes online and creating tools to manage client interactions:
- Integrating an events booking system with online payments to improve efficiency
- Providing online reporting and invoice management to reduce administration
- Managing and developing online systems for interaction management, including reminder systems and reports of activity broken down by client and by staff member
Ground-breaking corporate app
GWS developed a corporate app tailored to SWMAS's needs to replace paper forms and make it easier to track activity.
- The app includes scatter graphs, and enhances interactions with clients
- To improve efficiency and reduce re-keying of data, an online forms system was created replacing paper-based forms
- A version of the app was made available to consultants, meaning forms could be filled in and signed offline and synchronised later
This system was adopted by the Manufacturing Advisory Service throughout England.
Improvements to efficiency and customer experience
With a purpose-built system and app, significant gains in efficiency resulted and paperwork was reduced.
The app improved the employee and customer experience, and provided better interactions with customers.
